Ways To Engage

The keynote & plenary session sets the tone for the entire event. Leaders and influencers from government, industry and related sectors will deliver a series of visionary talks and participate in panels that will explore how cities can thrive and benefit from emerging technologies.

These are the only sessions where the entire delegate audience can be engaged at one time, providing sponsors with a  “big bang” platform for the demonstration of thought leadership and brand enhancement.

A Fast Sprint is an outcome based accelerated workshop facilitated by a leading expert that helps groups focus on solving a major city challenge.

Fast Sprints bring city leaders, technologists, entrepreneurs, developers, designers and industry leaders together to share ideas and collaborate – to explore new forms of innovation - and to generate the impetus and momentum to stimulate the actions which will collectively shape the future of cities.

Roundtables are small group discussions focused on a particular topic and directed by a central table host (a representative of the sponsor) who will guide the conversation and facilitate the questions and answers from the participants. Running in three rotations for 20 minutes each, delegates will have the opportunity to pre-select which tables they would like to attend ahead of the event.

Roundtable sponsorship is a cost effective way to form relationships and demonstrate capability with a pre-qualified audience.

The Hackathon will run for a full day and will bring teams together to hack solutions for the real problems facing cities today – utilising the latest HDK, SDK, APIs and platforms. This is where prototypes will be developed to help solve the challenges in traffic, parking, buildings, public safety and economic development.

There will be 4 challenge categories, each of which can be sponsored. These are:

  • Public Safety Challenge
  • Environment Challenge
  • Commerce / Economic Development Challenge
  • Intelligent Building Challenge

Winning teams will win amazing prizes as well as the opportunity to build out their solution beyond the hackathon.

The exhibition area will be a showcase of the technologies and solutions that promise to solve the most pressing issues in cities. With extended networking breaks scheduled to take place in the exhibition area, this is a great opportunity to engage with a captive audience, create awareness around your solutions and generate leads.

The Cities 4.0 Summit culminates with a unique opportunity for delegates to visit some of (city name) most ambitious and innovative urban projects. Delegates will be given the opportunity to pre-select their destination, where a host will take them behind the scenes and enable them to see how IoT and urban tech is transforming the way that cities are being design`ed, built and managed.

This is a great opportunity to exclusively present your solutions and have your team work the room as our conference delegates enjoy dinner or drinks. This is an exclusive sponsorship and includes an exhibition booth and branding benefits.

No one company is the same, and as a consequence no one partnership we build is the same. We take the time to learn what makes our partners tick. We’re keen to learn about your goals and targets, and discover what’s possible.

Held as part of the closing drinks ceremony in a co-working space, the Cities 4.0 pitching competition is designed specifically for Urban IoT startups. 5 startups will be selected to pitch in front of a top-notch jury of investors, market partners, and successful entrepreneurs.

Prizes will be awarded to the top early-stage, startup companies.

The Cities 4.0 Summit provides a natural test bed for the innovative technologies and business models needed to realise and deploy market-based solutions at scale to make cities around the world – smarter, more efficient, and more resilient for current and future urban dwellers.

Present your organisation as a supporter of urban innovation to an audience of C-level industry leaders, entrepreneurs, designers, developers, investors, press & media operating in the Urban IoT ecosystem.
